 'Princess Elizabeth' Gold Plated

You are looking at a very special model locomotive especially developed by "Hornby Model Railways" as a limited edition series to celebrate the Queens Golden Jubilee 2002. This LMS 4-6-2 Princes Class locomotive no. 6210 is being offered in LMS Maroon. This brand new model has never been out of its box and is as delivered from Hornby.

This version is adorned with 18ct Gold Plated parts and comes complete in its own silk lined presentation box. This locomotive is further enhanced with accessory packs, gold plated track, packaging, service sheet and outer cardboard protection box.

The London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Princess Royal Class is a class of an express passenger steam locomotive designed by William Stanier. Thirteen examples were built at Crewe Works, between 1933 and 1935 and two are preserved.

When originally built, they were used to haul the famous Royal Scot train between London Euston and Glasgow Central.

Flying Scotsman with Australian Head Board

This superbly detailed L.N.E.R apple green 4-6-2 Class A3 named "Flying Scotsman" running no. 4472 is from Hornby's limited Edition series commemorating the 20th anniversary of the locomotive visiting Australia

This example is NEW and complete in every respect including factory packaging, special head board, instructions, service sheet and original certificate. It comes DCC ready and is rare so very collectable.

The Class A3 (4472 Flying Scotsman) was a Pacific steam locomotive built in 1923 for the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) at Doncaster Works to a design of Nigel Gresley. It was employed on long-distance express East Coast Main Line trains by the LNER and its successors, British Railways Eastern and North-Eastern Regions, notably on the London to Edinburgh Flying Scotsman train service after which it was named.
